Are you going to be home this Thursday evening? Would you like wine and cheese delivered to your doorstep? Then we've got you covered! This week we'll be delivering a lovely bottle of Bordeaux with two 1/4 lbs of cheese.
Bordeaux is famous for its red wines which are typically blends. This particular wine is a Medoc, meaning that it is largely built from Cabernet Sauvignon. It has notes of baking spice, leather, and dried cherry.
Mimolette is an aged French cow's milk cheese that derives it's bright orange color from the use of annato seed. It is firm but tastes buttery, nutty and savory.
Sottocenere al Tartufo is a creamy cow's milk cheese from Italy with black truffles underneath an ash rind. It's a longstanding favorite of many at the shop and tastes great with this wine!
