Saturday Wine and Cheese Delivery! 7/18

Let's cool down on a hot Saturday night with a great bottle of red wine and two great cheeses to go with it!

If you heard tell about how good the Pinotage is, the rumours are true. We are loving it here at the shop too! Pinotage is a grape hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. It has depth and tannin but without any chewy, jammy qualities. Very nice, complex, and quaffable at the same time.

Ashbrook is a perennial shop favorite for novices and connoisseurs alike. It is modeled after Morbier- raw milk, lightly washed rind and a layer of vegetable ash through the center. It tastes of butter and sweet cream and the rind imparts a slightly toasty, nutty flavor. We will be cutting into a new wheel just for this delivery! It's as fresh as fresh can be.

While there are plenty of Manchegos out there, there are very few actually made on the farm (due to mass production/industrialization). When everything is done on the farm, it is called "farmstead" production. This farmstead Manchego is made from raw sheep's milk and aged four months. It is sharp and nutty, a little tangy, a little grassy- everything you want a Manchego to be and more!

We will be delivering to Denton and our immediate surroundings only. Cost does not include a tip to your driver. Drivers accept cash and venmo and all tips go directly to them. If you're curious about delivery range, please just give us a call. If you know you're out of range, you are still welcome to come pick it up! Please be prepared to show ID for alcohol.
