Italian Wine and Cheese Delivery 6/19

Wine and cheese, paired and delivered! This Friday the 19th we're delivering:

A bottle of Barbera D'Asti. This is a light-medium bodied red wine from the Piedmont region. It has a bright acidity, tart fruit flavors, and finishes dry.

The first cheese alongside is Sapore del Piave. We like to think that if gouda and Parmiggano had a baby, it would be Sapore del Piave. It has the dry, crumbly texture of Parm, but is accompanied with a sweeter, nuttier profile of an aged gouda. This cheese is great on its own (or with wine!) but will also work shaved over pasta, salads, or other dishes.

The second cheese is Sottocenere al Tartufo. This is a creamy, mild cow's milk cheese with black truffles. It has a grey, vegetable ash rind. Truffles and Barbera are a regional pairing (usually with an egg noodle pasta).

We will be delivering to Denton and our immediate surroundings only. If you're curious about delivery range, please just give us a call. If you know you're out of range, you are still welcome to come pick it up! Please be prepared to show ID for alcohol.
