Friday 5/8 Wine and Cheese Delivery!

Friday night date night at home! We're delivering a bottle of Lubanzi Red Blend, which follows French blends from the Rhone Valley in that it comprises of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. It has a nice med-full body with balanced fruit/spice/earth. This wine hails from South Africa, so it is a little brighter than a French GSM, but not nearly as fruity and round as CA red blends.

The first cheese we've paired with this is Quadrello di Bufala, which is a water buffalo milk Taleggio from Italy. It has an orangeish rind (from being washed in brine), a rich, creamy paste, and tastes tangy and a little meaty. 

The second cheese we've paired is a lovely 4 month, raw-milk Manchego, which is an authentic Manchego from La Manch, made from raw Manchega sheep's milk. It is firm and a little flaky, grassyl, nutty, and slightly sweet. It should provide a…
