Beer and Cheese Pairing. Delivery!! 4/18

This is a three course beer and cheese pairing, delivered to you by our laid-off bartender friends. All tips plus a portion of sales go to them. Order here and they will deliver to you between 4 and 7 pm on Saturday 4/18. We're keeping deliveries as close to Denton as possible. If you're unsure about our range, please give us a call. You are also welcome to pick it up if you are outside of range.

You can enjoy in any order you please, but here are the pairings:

1)  2 bottles of Funkwerks Saison, which is light, bright, fruity, zesty, and dry: one of the top saisons made in the U.S. We've paired this with Der Scharfe Maxx, a cream-added Alpine cheese that is intensely nutty, earthy, and onion-y. We thought of this as a "Fondue" pairing.

2)  2 bottles of Rogue Hazelnut Brown, a toasty, malty, slightly sweet brown ale with hazelnuts. We've paired this with Drunken Monk, a raw mik cheese from Lipan TX which is washed in TX whiskey. It tastes nutty, caramelly, and a little of vanilla.

3)  2 cans of Oasis Metamodern IPA, which a low-alcohol, mildly hoppy beer from TX. We've paired this with Barely Buzzed, which is a Jersey cow milk cheddar rubbed down with espresso and lavendar honey. The coffee and floral notes from the cheese pair really interestingly with the hops from the Metamodern. Don't be scared- its not that hoppy!
