Beer and Cheese Delivery 7/30

We're excited that Jolly Pumpkin started canning! 

Jolly Pumpkin is a craft brewery out of MI. They've been doing oak-aged farmhouses for years- think Jester King before there was a Jester King. This delivery feature two tallboys of their Calabaza Blanca. This is a Belgian-style wit beer aged in oak. It is light, tart, and refreshing with notes of citrus and coriander.

We had to open a can to come up with some great pairings, and after lots of trial and error (tough job but somebody's got to) we found that we loved it with aged cheddar! We've picked out two for you this go-round:

The first is Prairie Breeze, a one year-aged cheddar from a Mennonite collective out of Iowa. Sharp, a little sweet, a little savory, and with some nice crunchy crystals scattered throughout. Always a favorite.

The second is the Cabot Clothbound. This cheese is made by Cabot but aged at the Cellars at Jasper Hill. This cheese has been winning awards since it was first created. It has a little more aged on it than the Prairie, more crystals, and a deeper, nuttier profile with a bright lactic-buttermilk finish.

To round out these flavors, we're including a side of our house-made salted pineapple jam. Spread it on both the cheeses and wash it down with the perfect accompaniment!

We will be delivering to Denton and our immediate surroundings only. Cost does not include a tip to your driver. Drivers accept cash and venmo (yours on Thursday will be @Kenneth-Delgado-2  ) and all tips go directly to them. If you're curious about delivery range, please just give us a call. If you know you're out of range, you are still welcome to come pick it up! Please be prepared to show ID for alcohol.
